God Bless to all the 9/11 victims and their family’s an friends. Like most people I know where I was when I saw the shock of the towers coming down.
I’ve been awfully busy the past several days. I revamped my blog, but only every so slightly. One thing I didn’t realize was that Internet Explorers 9 (not in compatibility mode) was not rendering my menus properly. Could Microsoft make things any more complicated? Thanks to my webmaster friend over at the Bee Blog who is also running the same theme for finding and fixing it.
I’m also working on a new section of my blog called “A Day in the Life of…” I’m not ready to tell you exactly what it is, but it shouldn’t be too hard to guess. More to follow on that as I start to ramp that up.
On a different note, I’ve been thinking about how to keep things in the trunk of my car from having large temperature extremes. Extremes like you get in the middle of summer parked in the sun for several hours or in the dead of winter parked overnight at 0 degrees. Things like medicine (ie my daughters inhaler) and of course camera gear. My first thought was a Coleman Xtreme cooler, but initial testing was less then convincing. For example in my trunk the temperature was 110 degrees, but in the cooler it was 103.2. Not nearly what I expected from the label on the side of the cooler. More to follow on this in a proper article.
